I've always wondered what sort of person believes they are so interesting that they write a blog and more to the point, what sort of idle person has time to read them. Years later, I have found the answer by becoming both.
With three weeks to go before I leap into the life of an unemployment and wasting time as things wind down from work I have read some blogs that are interesting, informative and completely ridiculous. As far as passing a few idle minutes it has certainly been a more uplifting and entertaining experience than being depressed by the news.
It's also great to see people share things that inspire them, so in that vain, I will share the book that inspired the blog's title and taught me how to avoid calling a new born child 'it'.
Enjoy the classic by Jerome K Jerome - it fits the budget of the most idle as it is free!

Perhaps none of the other recipients of your link have commented, as admitting to having read your Blog, might, by your description, lead to them being perceived as being Idle?
ReplyDeleteHowever, if you are an example of such a state, I would be only too happy to carry the Title of Idle!!
If you run out things to do (eg setting up a Blog) when you next have some 'free' time...try gazing blankly into space.
Thanks for the book suggestion. I have downloaded this and will get started on it when I can find a minute in my busy schedule.
